Jessica & Garth's Highlights ~ August 2010

Jessica and Garth got married at the Campus View Church in Athens, Georgia in August of 2010. Everyone got ready at the Taylor Grady House, which is where the reception was held. Jessica made her own head piece and bracelet. Garth had his lucky guitar pick and his bull and bear cuff links. During the ceremony, the strings played traditional songs for the prelude, but Jessica and Garth exited the church to GNR's "Welcome to the Jungle". I love weddings where the you can see the personality of the bride and groom reflected throughout the event! Hair was done by Mint Salon. Natalie Bradley of Natalie Bradley Events coordinated the event. Melissa Prosser Photography captured still images of the day. The delicious food was catered by Classic City Chef. The band, The Dickens, rocked the night away! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Here's the highlights section from Jessica and Garth's wedding day. Enjoy!

Tatiana & Adam's Highlights ~ June 2010

Tatiana and Adam got married on a beautiful June evening at a private residence in Athens, Georgia. The wedding was an intimate event where the guests entered the ceremony area through a "red carpet" type entrance. As the sun went down the cicadas and frogs began their evening music. A great time was had by all! Dawn Tibbles coordinated the event. Jennie Evans Designs created the floral arrangements. The photographic memories were captured by 35 Atlanta. Please enjoy these highlights!

Troy & Virginia's 50th Wedding Anniversary Montage

Here's something a little different. I recently completed a montage for Troy and Virginia's 50th wedding celebration. They were married in June of 1960. After putting something like this together I feel I know the family. I wish them many more years of happiness and love!

Katherine & Spencer's Highlights / May 2010

Katherine and Spencer got married at the the historic Taylor-Grady House on a beautiful day in May. Most weddings we film at the Taylor-Grady House are either in the back or side yard. This wedding was unique in the fact that it took place on the front porch of the house. We always like to see something a little different! The reception was held in the back of the house under a beautifully decorated tent. Katherine and Spencer's initials were even projected onto the dance floor. Mark Parsons Photography was there to capture stills of the day. The event was catered by Epting Events. The whole day was gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as the bride!

Please check out the highlights from the day!

Leslie & Mark's Highlights - UGA Chapel and Foundry Park Inn

Leslie and Mark got married on April 10th, 2010 at the University Chapel on North Campus. Since they planned their wedding from out of town, I met them for the first time on their wedding day (as I do with about half my brides and grooms). The dogwoods were in full bloom and the weather was amazing. Leslie's wedding dress was from I Do, I Do Bridal Center. After the ceremony, Melissa Pepin used North Campus as the backdrop for her bridal party photos. The reception took place in the ballroom at the Foundry Park Inn and Spa. The Highballs rocked away the night and the dance floor was packed until it was time for the couple to depart. Congratulations Mark and Leslie!

Hope & Jeff's Highlights - Day Chapel

Hope and Jeff had a beautiful November wedding at the Botanical Gardens Day Chapel in Athens, Georgia. The leaves were in full colors this beautiful afternoon. We worked along side Shannah from ZoomWorks. This wedding celebration was slightly different than most because Hope and Jeff's friends and family were heavily involved in the day. During the ceremony the couple was surrounded by a ring of caring individuals who shared readings and blessings. During the reception, many guests shared stories and pieces of advice. The mother of the bride baked wedding cupcakes and the mother of the groom baked the groom's favorite - a chocolate cake. Hope and Jeff, I wish you the best and I still smile when thinking about your wedding day!
